INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers work side by side or in a support role to our staff.  All individual volunteers must undergo a background check with references.  Some positions may have additional requirements.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with BCHFS, please download the volunteer application and email to hr@bchfs.com when complete.

Individual Volunteers

  • Angels’ Cove
    • Child Care – Caring for babies and children while mothers attend training classes.  
  • Baptist Children’s Home Residential Care Campus
    • Tutors – Individual and group tutoring for students
    • Bible studies 
  • Faith Adoption Ministry
    • Circulating program information 
  • GraceHaven Pregnancy Resource Clinic
    • Organizing boutique – Sorting items and stocking shelves
    • Helping with diaper giveaways – sorting diapers, attending event
  • Pathways
    • Circulating program information

Group Volunteers

Baptist Children’s Home Carmi Campus

  • Yard work (pick up sticks, trim hedges, rake, etc.)
  • Cleaning (wash windows, gutters, cleanout landscaping, deep cleaning, etc.)
  • Skill Work (painting, tree removal, etc.)
