Statement on Roe v. Wade News

We are excited about the possibility of Roe v. Wade being overturned in the Supreme Court, as it is an answer to prayer.  However, the battle to protect the unborn remains, as presently the State of Illinois vows to protect abortion rights.  Our concern is not only for those who seek abortion from clinics, in the name of “women’s health,” but also the possibility of women pursuing a medication abortion through the abortion pill.  These pills are being mailed directly to homes across the United States and beyond.  This changes the playing field in protecting not only the unborn, but the women who are choosing abortion.  We at Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services have been caring for pregnant women and their unborn child since 1979.  We offer healthy alternatives to abortion through GraceHaven Pregnancy Resource Clinic, Angels’ Cove Maternity Care, and Faith Adoption Ministry.  Our mission is as important today as it was forty-three years ago as we speak truth, protect, heal, and restore those whom are facing and have faced abortion.  We are committed to care for the vulnerable at any age as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ and His love.
